20 more days

In 20 more days it will be one year since Addyson’s sigidmodectomy and cecostomy. I just realized it’s ostomy awareness week and the anniversary of her surgery. In a year we have come a long way. We have learned a lot, received more official diagnostic tests and have a path forward. We have gone from three flushes a day to one. We have decreased flush time from over an hr per flush to less than 40mins. We have learned and feel confident with doing tube changes at home. We are ready for what the next year Has in store
