The surgeon said she can start on solid foods. She is off one pain medication. They are happy with her progress. We had lots of visitors today, did tie dye , visited with the therapy dog and meet with an ostomy supply representative. Addyson even decorated and colored a bag. 
We are beaming with hope…the kids have shown us to smile even when the sky is gloomy.
