Chop day 2

Wow are we tired. So much driving, sightseeing, time at chop, etc. overall today was a good appointment. Dr Boyle is running some tests and wants her admitted for a few days within the next two weeks. As much as we don’t want this, we need answers, we need improvement, we need to rule out some things. We know it’s needed even though it’s going to be hard.

We will be going to an nj tube. We will be doing a full upper Gi panel (Motility) and scope. We will be checking a bunch of labs to see why she’s not showing improvement after all this. Her neuro Gi mentioned a few times that he thinks her autonomic nervous system is not acting correctly. We need to see In which way it’s acting up

The autonomic nervous system is a control system that acts largely unconsciously and regulates bodily functions such as the heart rate, digestion, respiratory rate, pupillary response, urination, and sexual arousal. This system is the primary mechanism in control of the fight-or-flight response.

Thank you Stephanie for coming with us. For being an extra set of ears and hands. For seeing our chop experience. thank you mom and dad for keeping Ethen, thank you Rhonda and Donald for getting us a hotel room and for checking in. Thanks Jenna for the good luck wishes. Thanks for dawn and holly from work for checking in on us. Thanks to Pam and Amy for sending positive vibes and a listening ear so we can talk through the information we were Given. Thanks randy for being our calm while we are away, for missing us like crazy but knowing we are trying to work with the team to find answers. For making her laugh through the tears. Thank you to everyone who checks in, reads our post and reminds us to keep going.
