Day 2 is done!!!! We liked palliative care. They were amazing. The anesthesiologist we met with was great as well. We went over her med list and discussed the protocol now with this autonomic dysfunction piece. She will now always get a bolus if fluids prior to going to the operating room and fluids will run before during and after the surgery. The team is working with gi on the long term tube plan. I told them inserting an NG every night is not feasible. They agreed. Her heart Rate was high for a bit today so they had her lie down and drink fluids. She spent some time at the studio and at the healing garden. The dr loved her idea of coloring on the table paper. She said she’s actually gonna start providing markers to the kids. Overall a productive day.
