Addysons urology appointment this morning went good. She is putting in an order for a bladder /kidney ultrasound (full and empty). We need to see if Addyson is fully emptying.
We discussed a few other tests that are more invasive. We all agreed to start with the most least invasive first.
She threw out the words: neurogenic bladder which a few of our other warrior moms will understand. We aren’t sure we are there yet so we are starting with the ultrasound.
We discussed how bowel issues will affect the bladder so the big questions is are there two issues or is the bladder acting up due to bowel issues.
The letter below is from her Neurogenetics dr. It’s very informative for the emergency room and operating room staff.
