Addysons mito meds came today. We pushed them through the g as prescribed. It clogged her tube. 🤦🏻♀️. Finally got it unclogged. She was very concerned we wouldn’t be able too but I did. Just took a bit.
Her site around her g tube looked a like funky so we cleaned it very well. She was screaming. Ethen went and gathered all the supplies. He even brought her her daisy (this is a huge comfort item for her). He said we know it Hurts Addyson but we have to clean it.
He did so well at gathering all the needed supplies (new ostomy bag, scissors, cut the bag to size. Gauze, q tip, new hollister device for her g tube & grip lock) All while I was cleaning the site.
Just been that kinda 48hrs 🤦🏻♀️🤪🤬😳 but guess what summit health got her meds here today as promised!!!! And we are soooo thankful for that
