We got Addysons neuropsych testing results today. They are kinda what we expected but still hard to see. We know we can continue to help her get to where she needs to be but it’s a long road ahead of us. We know she can do it though. She’s strong. She’s feisty and she can do this.
The hardest part is when we look at her missed time from school. Is it affecting her ability to learn….yes. But she is always going to have autonomic Dysfunction. She is always going to have good days and bad days. She will have flares. She isn’t going to be cured and fixed so we have to work with knowing that she will always have missed time. It’s like she’s already set up to fail or at least have a really tough road ahead. But we will be with her every step of the way. We will continue to help her get to where she needs to be.
